Nokia WP7 using Dual Core

In an interview with Forbes, Carlo Bozotti, CEO of ST-Ericsson, said that the smartphone Nokia WP7 will use dual-core processor U8500. WP7 first Nokia smartphone will use dual-core U8500 1.2GHz processor from ST-Ericsson with the support of Mali-400 GPU, the same as that used in Samsung Galaxy S II.

Carlo Bozotti also said that Nokia would release a 12 smartphone based on Windows Phone 7 in 2011. And Carlo Bozotti believe that the processor from ST-Ericsson will be the main supplier of processors for Phone Windows 8 based devices.
